Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a holistic therapy that activates the body's natural healing processes through targeted stimulation of specific points on the body. Scientific research has shown that acupuncture can influence the autonomic nervous system—helping to regulate blood pressure, heart rate variability, and muscle activity. It also appears to affect brain function by supporting mitochondrial activity and promoting the restoration of the blood-brain barrier.

Very thin, single-use surgical steel needles are gently inserted at specific points on the body. Each treatment is tailored to your personal comfort level, and most people find the experience deeply relaxing.

While you don’t need to have a specific condition to benefit from acupuncture, it can be highly effective in addressing mental and emotional stress—including depression, insomnia, and anxiety—as well as chronic pain. Acupuncture also supports recovery from surgery or injury, promotes hormone balance and fertility, and can safely support all phases of pregnancy, including labor induction.

Cervical Ripening Acupuncture is a safe, effective treatment offered in the final weeks of pregnancy. We begin at week 36 or 37 with 1-2x treatments weekly to help prepare the body for labor. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, this approach gently encourages the softening, thinning, and dilation of the cervix, while supporting hormonal balance and relaxation.

Using carefully selected acupuncture points, this treatment may help:

  • Encourage natural cervical ripening

  • Support optimal fetal positioning

  • Promote pelvic relaxation and reduce tension

  • Ease anxiety, fatigue, or discomfort in late pregnancy

  • Prepare the body for a smoother, more efficient labor

Each session is tailored to your unique constitution and birth plan, and can be a grounding, empowering ritual as you approach birth. Many expectant mothers find that these treatments help them feel more calm, confident, and physically ready for the journey ahead.

Facial Acupuncture is a gentle, natural, and holistic treatment that enhances your skin’s radiance from the inside out. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, this rejuvenating technique stimulates circulation, boosts collagen production, and helps smooth the appearance of fine lines — all without toxins, fillers, or downtime.

Unlike cosmetic procedures that focus on surface results, facial acupuncture works deeper. It promotes full-body wellness, helps to reduces stress, and supports your skin's natural glow and vitality.

This treatment is great for those seeking a natural approach — one that honors your health and enhances your unique radiance.

Glass Fire Cupping is a traditional healing therapy that uses heat and suction to promote circulation, release tension, and support the body's natural detoxification process by encouraging circulation and lymphatic flow.

During the session, glass cups are briefly heated using a flame, then gently placed on the skin. The resulting suction draws the skin and underlying tissues upward, increasing blood flow to the area, loosening tight muscles, and helping to relieve stagnation.
